History

Opened in 1979 as the Colorado Clubcite web |url= http://www.laughlinnevadaguide.com/history.htm |title= Laughlin, Nevada History |accessdate=2007-09-04 |format= |work= ] and was built by Tom Ward and Ed Nigro. The casino was also know as the Pioneer Hotel and had 414 rooms.

In 1980, having been renamed to the Whiskey River Club it was sold to Margaret Elardi. In '1986 opened the very first slots club in Nevada'.
