Freeport is a city in Harper County, Kansas, United States. At the 2000 census the population was six, making it the smallest incorporated city in the state of Kansas.

Geography

Freeport is located at coor dms|37|11|50|N|97|51|23|W|city (37.197234, -97.856481)GR|1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.2 square miles (0.5 km²), all of it land.

Demographics

As of the censusGR|2 of 2000, there were 6 people, 3 households, and 3 families residing in the city. The population density was 31.5 people per square mile (12.2/km²). There were 5 housing units at an average density of 26.3/sq mi (10.2/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 100.00% White.
