Kumamoto Domain

The nihongo|Kumamoto Domain|熊本藩|-han was "han" or a Japanese feudal domain that was located in Higo Province (present-day Kumamoto Prefecture) apart from Kuma District and Amakusa District and part of Bungo Province (present-day Oita Prefecture). It was also known as nihongo|Higo Domain|肥後藩|-han. The headquarters of the domain was located in the Kumamoto Castle in the present-day city of Kumamoto.
