Satavahana Express(Telugu:-శాతవాహన ఎక్స్ ప్రెస్)(Hindi:-शातवाहना एक्स प्रेस), is an Intercity Express running between Indian Cities of Vijayawada and Secunderabad in the Andhra Pradesh State. The Train is organized by Vijayawada Division of South Central Railways of Indian Railways. The train covers 351 Kilometers in just 5 Hours and 35 Minutes and is a non Shatabdi Express. Due to the increasing demand, Mabahoobabad and Madhira are the additional stops to the train. On its journey, the train halts at Kazipet,Warangal,Mahaboobabad,Khammam and Madhira before reaching to Vijayawada Junction.

The train named Satavahana to remember the contributions of the Satavahana Dynasty which ruled Andhra and parts of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Karnataka and Goa.
