Brendan Kehoe

Brendan Patrick Kehoe (born December 3, 1970 in Dublin, Ireland) is a software developer and author. He has written two books as well as technology articles in the specialist press (e.g., in "Boardwatch Magazine") on the topic of the Internet. His first book, "Zen and the Art of the Internet: A Beginner's Guide" was the first mass-published user's guide to the Internet.

On December 31, 1993, he and a friend, Sven Heinicke, were involved in a serious car accident that left Brendan with brain injuries including aphasia. He has since made a full recovery.

He was married on October 5, 1996. He lives in Dublin, Ireland with his wife and two children.

In a survey [cite web|url=http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1895,57455,00.asp|title=20th Anniversary of the PC Survey|date=2001-08|publisher=PC Magazine] taken by PC Magazine for the twentieth anniversary of the PC, "Zen and the Art of the Internet" was listed as one of the "top sci-fi/tech non-fiction book of the past twenty years" (1981-2001).
