mile s long and 12 miles wide. Geographically it is located in the Salt Range area.Water of this area could not drain and many lakes have been formed. Soan Sakaser is inhabited by
man since ancient times and fossils of that period have been found. Relics ofHindu Buddhist,Moghul ,Sikh , and British periods have been found here.Nowshera is its main village. There some good parks for outing i.e. Sodhi Park, Kanhati Park. Some very famous people of Urdu Language are belong to Soan Sakaser Valley like Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi (Unga), Abdul Qadir Hassan (Khora).
