Thame , one of three sons of Rev. Elijah Bagot Corbett (Vicar of Thame 1872-1893), and died at Waddon Manor,Portesham Dorset.He was a contemporary of the centre-forward and fellow teacher,
G. O. Smith . Corbett first taught atBrighton College and then joined Smith at his school inLudgrove .Corbett made one appearance for Derbyshire during the 1910 season, a County Championship game against Kent which the team lost by a large margin. Sheriff of London Charity Shield . The team which Bury put into the field that day contained nine of the eleven players which had beatenDerby County F.C. in the 1903FA Cup final by 6-0, but Bury lost to the Corinthians 10-3.After leaving Shardlow Hall, Corbett retired to Waddon Manor in
