2001 European Figure Skating Championships

2001 European Figure Skating Championships

The European Figure Skating Championships is an annual figure skating competition in which elite figure skaters compete for the title of European Champion. Skaters compete in the categories of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.

The 2001 Championships were held at the Ondrej Nepela Ice Rink in Bratislava, Slovakia from January 21st through 28th. The event was open to skaters belonging to a European member nation of the International Skating Union. The corresponding competition for non-European skaters was the 2001 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships.

Due to the large number of participants, the ladies and men's qualifying groups were split into groups A and B.
