The National Broadcasting School (also known as the 'NBS') is a small educational institution in Brighton, England. The school is located on the campus of the University of Sussex.Red FM (Red Radio) is the school's own radio station.

The National Broadcasting School offers two types of programs and certifications. One in Presentation and Production, and the other in Radio News. The Radio News course has earned the Broadcast Journalism Training Council (BJTC) accreditation.^{[citation needed]}

The School contains several instructors and mentors from various parts of the broadcasting and media industry. The Director of the school is Rory McLeod, who started his broadcasting career in the newsroom at Radio Clyde in Glasgow and rose to be Managing Director of Southern Sound in Brighton..
