The Last Broadcast is the second album by the band Doves. It went to number 1 in the UK albums chart.The album was produced by Doves themselves, with additional production from Max Heyes. Steve Osborne produced "Satellites" and co-produced "Caught by the River" with Heyes.
"M62 Song" is credited to Fripp, Giles, Lake, McDonald, Sinfield because, as stated in the album sleeve, it is an adaptation of "Moonchild" by King Crimson. Similarly, "Hit The Ground Running" is an adaptation of "Werewolves of London" by Warren Zevon.
