The station was owned by Clear Channel until September 2007, when ownership was transferred to Galaxy Utica as a result of Clear Channel's decision to "go private". The all sports format has been retained with different sports programming. The slogan changed from "Sports Stars" to "1310 The Game."
WRNY's "The Game" network also broadcasts on WIXT AM 1230 in
Little Falls, New York and originates on WTLB AM 1310 inUtica, New York . Each of the three stations occasionally breaks away to air local sports of interest surrounding each station's city of license.The network is affiliated with
