The North American Leaders' Summit is the official name of the trilateral annual summit between the prime minister of Canada, and the presidents of Mexico and the United States.[1][2][3] It started as the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, a continent-level dialogue, founded on 23 March 2005.

The leaders of the U.S., Canada and Mexico had a major trilateral summit meeting, in relation to the SPP, at the Château Montebello, in Montebello, Quebec.[6]
Was to meet after the 2011 APEC Summitt.[10] President Calderón declined to attend as his Interior Minister, Francisco Blake Mora, died in a helicopter crash on November 11, 2011.[11]
