Capital Radio is a Sierra Leone radio station based in Wilkinson Road, Freetown.

History

Capital Radio was established as a company in Sierra Leone in 2005. The station has 3 directors - Adonis Abboud, Colin Mason and David Stanley. Test broadcasts commenced from the Cape Sierra Hotel in May 2006, with the full service started from studios in Wilkinson Road on 3rd July 2006.

The station transmits from the SLBS Leicester Peak radio site, using 104.9MHz. Early in 2008, a relay in Bo will be established on 102.3MHz.
