Avre Bendi

Avre Bendi

It is a deliciously spicy Konkani recipe for a gravy base to which one can add any type of pulses. The main ingredients are coconut, dried red chillies and tamarind. The tamarind balances the spiciness of the red chillies. It is typically served with plain steamed rice and is a main dish in any Konkani weddings.
