The Majestic Theatre is San Antonio's oldest and largest atmospheric theatre.

The theatre seats 2311 people and was designed by architect John Eberson for Karl Hoblitzelle's Interstate Theatres in 1929.

In 1975, the theatre was listed on the National Register of Historical Places and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1993.

The theatre has been home to the San Antonio Symphony since 1989.

The theatre is sister theatre of The Woodlawn Theatre.
