Lyminster is a village and civil parish in the Arun District of West Sussex, England. It is located on the outskirts of the built-up area of Littlehampton, two miles (43.2km) north of the town centre. The civil parish covers an area of 586.91ha and has a population of 351 persons (2001 census). The parish also includes the settlement of Crossbush, on the A27.

Just to the north of the village is a knuckerhole which was once, according to legend the home of a dragon, the Knucker. The church, dedicated to St Mary Magdalene, contains a tombstone, known as the Slayer's Slab, which is supposed to be from the tomb of the dragonslayer. The church has a beautiful peel of six bells, the local pub being called "The Six Bells". There is a marvellous view of the South Downs from the rear of the church.
