Jeremy Jon Oscar Smith (born April 14, 1980 in Christchurch, New Zealand) is a New Zealand rugby league player for the Melbourne Storm in the National Rugby League competition. His position of choice is in the second-row.

Smith is not to be confused with compatriot and namesake Jeremy James Smith. Both Jeremy Smiths were named in the rugby league Centenary clash of 14 October 2007, Souths' Smith in the number 7 jersey, and Melbourne's Grand Final winning Smith in the number 13 jersey. Although born in New Zealand and recruited by the Storm from Runaway Bay on Queensland's Gold Coast. Smith played the majority of his junior rugby league with the Altona Roosters club in Melbourne. Thus making Smith technically the first local junior to play for the Storm.
