Tupholme

Tupholme

Tupholme is a ruined Abbey located on the back road between Horncastle and Bardney, Lincolnshire. It was the scene of a Pop Festival in the 1970s, featuring some big names in the music scene of the time.

The abbey was founded in the early 13th century, and sold off in the Dissolution of the Monasteries. William Willoughby purchased the site and built Tupholme Hall, now demolished.
