Center for U.S. - Mexico Immigration Analysis
The Center for U.S.-Mexico Immigration Analysis (CUSMIA) is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit research institute that exists to pursue the deepening of knowledge and understanding in relation to immigration/migration flows between Mexico and the United States. CUSMIA's mission is the pursuit of knowledge and understanding to facilitate inclusiveness in the global community.
Based out of Dallas, Texas, CUSMIA was formed in 2006 in response to mounting political, societal and economic concerns over border control and undocumented immigration/migration flows with Mexico. While many in the U.S. view the surge in undocumented immigration/migration from Mexico as a domestic crisis, CUSMIA is dedicated to evaluating such concerns through unbiased, bipartisan, research-based methods.
