The Commodore Hotel is an Art Deco-style hotel in Portland, Oregon, United States. It was built in 1925 by Herman Brookman, and is on the National Register of Historic Places.[1] The Commodore Hotel became the home of KTBR radio (later known as KALE) beginning on November 12, 1927 when the station moved from 393½ Yamhill Street.[citation needed] On March 28, 1928 KTBR moved to the Weatherly Building.[citation needed] The hotel currently houses a market, apartments, and a restaurant.[citation needed]
