Controversy

As a response to Kimberly "Kim" Kardashian's lavish wedding and quick divorce, there is a growing movement to remove the Kardashian series' off the air. The petition, which has been posted on gopetition.com, states "these shows are mostly staged and place an emphasis on vanity, greed, promiscuity, vulgarity and over-the-top conspicuous consumption...We are respectfully requesting that your network find other shows to air." As of 11/20/11, the petition has close to 160,000 signatures. [23]
