History

*1945 - The hospital is originally chartered as a 180 bed, non-profit, general hospital.
*1947 - The charter increases to include 300 beds.
*1962 - The hospital affiliates with Texas Heart Institute.
*1997 - The Episcopal Diocese of Texas establishes the non-profit St. Luke's Episcopal Health System.
*2002 - St. Luke's finalizes its purchase of the physician group, Kelsey-Seybold Management Services, LLP.
*2003 - St. Luke's Episcopal Health System opens St. Luke's Diagnostic & Treatment Center - Kirby Glen and St. Luke's Community Medical Center-The Woodlands.
