Burcot is a village in Oxfordshire, England. It lies on the left bank of the River Thames, in the civil parish of Clifton Hampden. Until 1932 the village was in the civil parish of Dorchester.

Burcot lies on the main road from Dorchester to Abingdon, now the A415.

In the 17th century Burcot was an important transhipment point on the Thames. Because the river had become almost innavigable between Oxford and Burcot, goods destined for Oxford had to be unloaded from barges at Burcot and carried by wagons to Oxford. This led in 1605 to the formation of the Oxford-Burcot Commission to improve the navigation.
