To the west all trains run to London Bridge and then on to either Cannon Street during the week or to Charing Cross at the weekend (when Cannon Street is closed). Not all trains passing through the station are scheduled to stop; the normal off-peak service is four trains an hour in each direction, of which two of the eastbound trains run via the Dartford Loop and the other two run to Dartford.
