Finest Kind

Finest Kind

Finest Kind is a folk music trio based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It consists of Ian Robb, Ann Downey and Shelley Posen.

Finest Kind has released four albums in its own name (One a Christmas album with Canadian actor John D. Huston). Individually, its members have appeared on several solo CDs. It has performed at Folk festivals throughout North America and the United Kingdom, including the Ottawa Folk Festival [cite web |title=Ottawa Folk Festival, past events |url=http://www.ottawafolk.org/2007/pastevents.html |accessdate=2008-01-13] and is widely considered one of Canada's finest folk groups.
