RMS-006 Jenice

The Jenice is a fictional weapon from the After War timeline of the anime Gundam metaseries.

It is the main mobile suit used during the 7th Space War by the Space Revolutionary Army, commonly used by average soldiers. A surprisingly a high number of them survives the colony drop and nearly every major and minor force in the After War era has some of them.

The RMS-006G Jenice (Ground Type) was a modification of the original model created by the Space Revolutionary Army for atmospheric entry. It became commonly used in the After War era because a great number of these models survived the colony drop. The Jenice (Ground Type) doesn't feature the shoulder spikes of its space use counterpart. Like other mobile suits, many Jenices and Jenices (Ground Type) units were modified by their owners, which created unique units like the Jenice Kai Slash Buffalo and the Jenice Kai Ennil El Custom.

Like other mobile suits created previously to the beginning of the After War calendar, the Jenice is based on an Universal Century design, in this case, it's an homage to the MS-06 Zaku II. The name Jenice is a play on the word June.
