* Busch Stadium, home of the St. Louis Cardinals, is scheduled to host the 2009 All-Star Game. The stadium opened in 2006 and the game would be St. Louis' first MLB All-Star Game since by|1966. [cite web|url=http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2732393|title=Selig signs off on 2009 All-Star Game for St. Louis|publisher=ESPN.com|date=2007-01-16|accessdate=]

* Angel Stadium of Anaheim, home of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, is scheduled to host the 2010 All-Star Game. This would be Angel Stadium's third All-Star Game; its other two were in by|1967 and 1989, when it was known as Anaheim Stadium. The selection of Angel Stadium, opened in 1966, is a departure from the recent trend of using the All-Star Game to highlight newer baseball stadiums, the most notable exceptions being Fenway Park in 1999 and Yankee Stadium in 2008. [cite web|url=http://losangeles.angels.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20080523&content_id=2753329&vkey=news_mlb&fext=.jsp&c_id=mlb|title=Angels to host 2010 All-Star Game|author=Bloom, Barry M.|publisher=MLB.com|date=2008-05-23|accessdate=] 2010 will also mark the Angels' 50th season as an American League franchise.

Although this would be its third All-Star Game, it would be the first in the latest configuration of Angel Stadium (following the remodeling after the Northridge earthquake). It is also the third configuration the game will have been hosted in; the 1967 game was played prior to the expansion of the park to the state it was in during the 1989 game.
