Regional Railroad of the Year

The Regional Railroad of the Year is an annual award given to exemplary North American Class II railroads by rail transport industry publication "Railway Age". The award recognizes the railroads' commitments to customer service and innovation in the industry.

The railroads that have received this honor are:

* 1992 - Wisconsin Central (WC)
* 1997 - Red River Valley and Western Railroad (RRVW)
* 1998 - Texas Mexican Railway (TM)
* 1999 - Providence and Worcester Railroad (PW)
* 2000 - Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad (BLE)
* 2001 - Wisconsin and Southern Railroad (WSOR)
* 2002 - Reading, Blue Mountain and Northern Railroad (RBMN)
* 2003 - Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad (IHB)
* 2004 - Wheeling and Lake Erie Railroad (WE)
* 2005 - Red River Valley and Western Railroad (RRVW)
