Kunal Nayyar

Kunal Nayyar (born April 30) in London, England is an Indian comic actor. He is currently known for his role as the nerdy and socially-neurotic "Rajesh Koothrappali" on the CBS sitcom, The Big Bang Theory.

Career

Recently, Nayyar teamed up with fellow Indian Oroon Das, to write the critically acclaimed play, "Cotton Candy," which is currently still running in New Delhi.

While his role on CBS' The Big Bang Theory is his first as a TV regular, Kunal has previously guest starred in the CBS drama "NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service)" in Suspicion (Season 4, Episode 12). He played Youssef Zidan, a terrorist.

Nayyar is currently writing his first feature film.

Personal

As of 2007, Nayyar is dating actress Sonal Shah.
