"Sound of da Police" is the second and final single from rapper KRS-One's debut album, "Return of the Boom Bap". The lyrics referred to the police in Bronx, New York with lines like "Are you really for peace and equality?" and the chorus "Woop-Woop, that's the sound of da police" making fun of them. The song is produced by Showbiz. It was a CD single featuring b-side, "Hip hop vs. Rap".
