Travis Beckum (born January 24, 1987 in Milwaukee, WI) is an American football tight end. A student-athlete at the University of Wisconsin, he is the starting tight end for the Badgers and a finalist for the 2007 John Mackey Award. High School Career

Travis beckum participated in the 2005 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

College career

In 2005 Beckum saw limited action in 10 games as reserve on defense and on special teams. In 2006, Beckum switched position to tight end and saw more action. Beckum was a semifinalist for the John Mackey Award and was named second-team All-American by Walter Camp and SI.com.
