Ronen Bergman

Ronen Bergman

Ronen Bergman (born June 16 1972) is an Israeli investigative journalist. He is currently senior security and intelligence correspondent and analyst for "Yedioth Ahronoth". He was formerly a senior staff feature writer for "Haaretz". He is also an anchor on an Israeli television news program and a frequent guest on talk shows.

Biography

Bergman is a member of the Israeli Bar, holds a M.Phil degree in international relations, and was awarded a Ph. D by Cambridge University for his dissertation about the Israeli Mossad, the first ever on that subject, written under the supervision of the esteemed Professor Christopher Andrew, chairman of the History Faculty. He is a member of the new Project for Security Studies at Cambridge and a lecturer in various forums. He also teaches investigative journalism at Tel Aviv University.

Bergman has published numerous articles and academic papers on topics such as Israeli military history, Hamas, Hezbollah and Iranian-funded terrorism.
