Diatonic harmonica refers to various kinds of single key harmonica:

  • Tremolo harmonica. In Asia, diatonic usually refer to this type.

  • Blues harp, also known as 10-hole harmonica. In United States and Europe, diatonic usually refer to this type.

  • Octave harmonica
