Calder Valley is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.

Boundaries

The constituency covers most of the metropolitan district of Calderdale in West Yorkshire. The wards of Calderdale that are part of the constituency are:

History

The seat was created in 1983, mainly from the previous Sowerby constituency. It is a marginal constituency between Labour and the Conservatives.
