Skudai Highway "(Lebuhraya Skudai)", also known as Senai Highway (Lebuhraya Senai) Jalan Tun Abdul Razak or Jalan Skudai, Federal route JKR|1 (Asian Highway Network AHN-AH|2 sections from Skudai Interchange to Johor Bahru) is a 29 kilometre partial-access highway in Johor, Malaysia, from the town of Senai to the Johor-Singapore Causeway, which connects Malaysia and Singapore. In Singapore, the causeway connects with Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE). The highway is also a part of Federal Route JKR|1 and also a part of the Johor Bahru expressway network.

Opened to traffic in 1985, Skudai Highway used to be a tolled highway until March 2004 when the federal government decided to abolish the Senai toll plaza. Previously, the concession of the highway was held by PLUS Expressway Berhad as a part of the North-South Expressway project. Today, only the Johor Causeway Toll Plaza is still in operation for Singaporean motorists, and the highway is now administered by Malaysian Public Works Department.

Skudai Highway was originally a four-lane highway (two in each direction) but the stretch from Bandar Baru Uda to Skudai has been widened to six lanes in 2001 to enable the highway to handle higher traffic capacity.

Current development

The Tampoi North Interchange has been upgraded to a Double U-Turn interchange. Construction began in 2005 and was completed in 2008. Meanwhile, Skudai North junctions between route JKR|1 and JKR|5 has been upgraded to trumpet interchanges. Construction began in 2005 and was completed on August 2007.
