Rodimus, originally named Hot Rod, is the name of several fictional characters in the various Transformers universes.Originally named Hot Rod and then Rodimus Prime, later Rodimus, is the name of several fictional characters in the various Transformers universes.

Transformers: Generation 1

Transformers: Generation 2

In some European countries the Laser Rod known as Jolt was released under the name Hot Rod, although he seems to have no relation to the Generation 1 Hot Rod.

Transformers 2007 movie

Hot Rod is rumored to make an appearance in Transformers 2, as a possible alternate mode has been spotted on set. The alternate mode is an unknown Corvette concept.

Transformers: Armada

Hot Rod is the Japanese name for the Autobot, Hot Shot. Both characters share similarities in alternate modes, personality and eventual new leader of the Autobots until Optimus returned.
