The Honda CB1000R is a naked bike manufactured by the Honda Motor Company.cite web |url=http://www.honda.co.uk/motorcycles/2008/CB1000R/ |title=2008 Honda CB1000R |accessdate=2007-12-01 |format=HTML |publisher=Honda UK |language=English] It was unveiled at the Milan Bike Show on 6 November, 2007 as a replacement for the CB900F.cite web |url=http://www.motorcycledaily.com/06november07_2008_honda_cb1000r.htm |title=Honda Rocks Milan With New CB1000R |accessdate=2007-12-01 |last=Edge |first=Dirck |date=2007-11-06 |format=HTML |publisher=Motorcycle Daily |language=English]

Styling cues are borrowed from the CB600F. The engine is taken directly from the 2007 CBR1000RR and is expected to produce around convert|125|bhp|kW|0|abbr=on. The front suspension uses a convert|43|mm|in|1|abbr=on inverted HMAS cartridge-type telescopic fork with stepless preload with compression/rebound adjustments and convert|120|mm|in|1|abbr=on cushion stroke. The rear is a monoshock with gas-charged HMAS damper featuring 10-step preload and stepless rebound damping adjustment and convert|128|mm|in|1|abbr=on axle travel.

The CB1000R continues Honda's goal for "mass centralization", a recent Honda trait where they attempt to place as much weight as low and centralized on the bike as possible.
