Claus Norreen (born June 5, 1970, Charlottenlund, Denmark) is a Danish musician and record producer known for being a part of the band Aqua, which sold around 33 million records.

Biography

Early life

Claus Noreen was born in Charlottenlund, near Copenhagen. Before he seriously started making music, he always wanted to become a chemist. Other than school, one of his biggest interests was electropop music.^{[citation needed]}Hence, he bought a pair of keyboards and started playing industrial techno.

When he finished school he started to work in his sisters' clothing store. The work in the store inspired him and influenced his style of music. In 1989, he met Søren Rasted and moved his music instrument to his residence.

Claus, now separated, was married to Danish actress and model Siggy Norreen in 2001. Siggy and Claus have a son Elliott together born in February 2003.
