*In the movie "
Beetlejuice ", the title character (Michael Keaton ) tempts ahousefly with a Zagnut. He lures the fly to his lair and then pulls it into the ground. We hear the fly (or perhaps Beetlejuice mockingly) screaming, "Help Me! Help Me! Help Me!" Beetlejuice promptly devours the fly like candy and tosses the candy bar aside.
*Zagnut bars appear in the movies "Seems Like Old Times" and "The Great Outdoors ". Zagnuts also appear in the movie "Meatballs II " inJason Hervey 's suitcase.
*Snake uses a Zagnut to rob theKwik-E-Mart in a Simpsons comic book.
