Sky gazing (Dzogchen)

Sky gazing (Dzogchen)

In both the Bön and Buddhist Dzogchen traditions, sky gazing (Wylie: "nam mkha' ar gtad", THDL: namkha arté) is considered to be an important practice. [Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche (2002), p. 130] Detailed instructions on the practice are provided by the Nyingma teacher Tarthang Tulku. [Tarthang Tulku (1977)]
