Biol.) is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes high quality critical review papers, in English, in all areas of molecular biology and molecular microbiology. Relevant protocols and technology papers will also be considered for publication. The journal is published by Horizon Scientific Press, from Norfolk, UK.

Full content of all articles are freely available online. A print edition of the journal is also available. One volume per year.

The 2009 impact factor was 4.588.[1]

History
