Secunderabad Railway station is the headquarters of South Central Railway.It is located in the city of Secunderabad, the twin of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. It connects Hyderabad to the rest of the country through railroad. It is one of the biggest railway stations in India.It has a capacity to handle 70.6 million passengers per annum.It was constructed by Nizams. It is well connected to other cities and towns of the state as well as the country. Thousands of people from both the cities travel everyday from this station, because of its convenient location. Currently, about 100 trains operate in to and from the station to different towns and cities in the country. The station is connected to almost all the parts of the twin cities by the APSRTC's buses, making it convenient for passengers to commute to and fro the station.

The Railway station has been renovated to provide convenient facilities to passengers like toll booths for cars, increased parking space, additional ticketing counters and giving it a better overall look as well. It is being planned to construct an escalator in the station for the convenience of passengers. Private Taxis are also provided for commuters. MMTS local services are also available through this station. Secunderabad is also a major railway junction in the Wadi-Vijayawada railway route.
