Tibor Harsányi

Tibor Harsányi (Magyarkanizsa, June 27, 1898 - Paris, September 19, 1954) was a Hungarian-born composer and pianist.

He studied at the Budapest Conservatory under Zoltán Kodály, before relocating to Paris in 1923. There, he became involved with the group of composers in L'Ecole de Paris, which included emigre composers such as Alexandre Tansman, Bohuslav Martinů, Alexander Tcherepnin and Marcel Mihalovici.
