Village of Four Seasons is a village in Camden County, Missouri, United States. The population was 1,493 at the 2000 census.

Geography

Village of Four Seasons is located at coor dms|38|12|4|N|92|42|56|W|city (38.201086, -92.715556)GR|1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 4.6 square miles (11.8 km²), of which, 4.5 square miles (11.6 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.2 km²) of it (1.76%) is water.

Demographics

As of the censusGR|2 of 2000, there were 1,493 people, 641 households, and 496 families residing in the village. The population density was 334.2 people per square mile (129.0/km²). There were 2,025 housing units at an average density of 453.3/sq mi (174.9/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 98.19% White, 0.13% African American, 0.07% Native American, 0.33% Asian, 0.20% from other races, and 1.07% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.94% of the population.

There were 641 households out of which 23.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 68.0% were married couples living together, 7.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.6% were non-families. 18.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.33 and the average family size was 2.62.

In the village the population was spread out with 19.6% under the age of 18, 6.3% from 18 to 24, 20.9% from 25 to 44, 36.0% from 45 to 64, and 17.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 47 years. For every 100 females there were 91.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 96.2 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $59,063, and the median income for a family was $60,714. Males had a median income of $42,250 versus $25,417 for females. The per capita income for the village was $36,593. About 8.7% of families and 10.7% of the population were below the poverty line, including 28.1% of those under age 18 and 1.6% of those age 65 or over.
