Juni Fisher (born "c." 1957) is a western and folk
singer-songwriter .She has received three awards from the
Western Music Association : the Crescendo Award, Female Vocalist of the Year, and Song of the Year, in 2005, 2006, and 2007, respectively. Fisher was originally from a farming family in
Strathmore, California . ballad , which she has described as "a pure form of American folk music". Her musical influences early on includedMarty Robbins ,Joan Baez andBurl Ives .On one of her albums, she performed one of her own compositions, "I Hope She'll Love Me", in a duet with Joe Hannah of
Sons of the San Joaquin .She enjoys fly fishing in her spare time.
