Zachary Onyonka

Zachary Onyonka

Dr. Zachary Onyonka (b. 1938 - d. 2002) was a Kenyan politician. Onyonka was the foreign minister of his country from 1987 to 1988.

He was elected to the parliament at the 1969 elections from Kitutu West Constituency and retained a parliamentary seat until his death. Kitutu West Constituency was split before the 1988 elections, when he was elected to the parliament from newly created Kitutu Chache Constituency [Center for Multiparty Democracy: [http://www.cmd.or.ke/images/Politics%20and%20Paliamenterians%20in%20Kenya.pdf Politics and Parliamenterians in Kenya 1944-2007] ] .
