Hanwell railway station is a railway station in Hanwell in the London Borough of Ealing. The station is served by local services operated by Heathrow Connect from London Paddington to Heathrow. The station is on the original line of the Great Western Railway. Re-built circa 1875-77 it is has been declared a grade II listed building by English Heritage but states it to be in a very poor condition. Only four trains stop each hour at Hanwell; two going to Heathrow and two going to London Paddington.

The station is sited a short distance east of the Grade I -listed Wharncliffe Viaduct.

The station is unusual in that the station operator is First Great Western, however on weekdays there are only 2 services a day provided by First Great Western itself. These are the 0003 to Reading and the 0857 to Twyford. On a weekend there is only one Saturday service provided by First Great Western, the 2359 to Reading. All other services are provided by Heathrow Connect, although this is at least a joint operation by First Great Western and BAA Limited (formerly the British Airports Authority). The station is closed on a Sunday, although it is hoped that this will be resolved in time for the Olympics in 2012.

Since the passing of the station-master in 2006, the station has been unmanned.
