Tim Ramholt (born November 2, 1984 in Zurich, Switzerland) is a professional ice hockey player. He plays defence for the Philadelphia Phantoms in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Playing career

He was a 2nd round draft pick of the Calgary Flames, taken 39th overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

Ramholt earned his first callup to the NHL on November 28, 2007 after starting the 2007–08 season in Quad City. Ramholt made his NHL debut the following night against the Anaheim Ducks before being returned to the AHL. Previously, Ramholt spent two seasons playing in his native Switzerland.

On June 30, 2008 the Philadelphia Flyers acquired Ramholt by sending Kyle Greentree to the Flames.
