Ayiroor is a village in the state of Kerala, India.

This village is famous for its temples. There are three famous temples in this village: Anjumurthy temple, Thrimpallur temple and Kochu Thampratti temple. The name 'Ayiroor' itself originates from 'Anjumurthy', which means five idols.

Ayiroor is on the banks of the river Ayiroorpuzha, one of the smallest rivers in Kerala. On the southwest side of this village is the Edavanadayara lake. There is one nationalized bank—Indian Overseas Bank. The educational institutions are Government Upper Primary School and Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Model School. There are also a few private hospitals. The people of Ayiroor are generally employed in the service sector. A large proportion of them work outside India, mainly in the Middle East and the United Kingdom. There are a few cashew nut factories in this village. The nearest railway station is in Varkala. The village has one post office and one telephone exchange.
