Llangattock Vibon Avel ( _cy. Llangatwg Feibion Afel) is a small village in Monmouthshire, south east Wales, in the United Kingdom.

Location

Llangattock Vibon Avel is located five miles west of Monmouth and some thirteen miles east of Abergavenny just off the B4233 old road.

Amenities & History

The village has a church [http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/247457] , disused but containing in its quiet south facing graveyard five memorial tombs to members of the Rolls family, including Charles Rolls, of Rolls Royce fame. The churchyard also contains a tall granite war memorial to men of this parish who fell in both world wars [http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/247096] .

The Rolls of Monmouth golf club is based locally at The Hendre [http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/372038] .
